well, my mom is of scandinavian decent and Helga is such a common name here that you can yell: Helga and nearly every middle aged Woman will turn her head...nevermind ;)

heh well, Helga was the most popular name in Iceland the year I was born...and mom and dad were so creative to give me a name that everyone else had xD So yes it's a quite common name here as well.

better then giving you a freaky name like apple or Trixy-Belle, or a name no one outside your country ever can pronounce or spell. I was orginally named Frauke what is north-frisian and mean lil woman(or the shorter form of Veronika)
